MotoXTerms of use
By creating an account or using MotoX you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What MotoX is
MotoX is a marketplace that connects car owners with independent businesses — workshops, tow providers, rental agencies, dealers, parts shops and couriers. The businesses provide the services and goods; MotoX is not a party to the agreement between you and a business and does not guarantee their work, prices or availability. Payments are currently made in cash directly to the business.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and a phone number you own, and keep your password secret.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Business accounts must hold the licences their activity requires and upload genuine documents. We may refuse or suspend a business that we cannot verify.
3. Content and conduct — zero tolerance
You are responsible for the ads, photos, messages, ratings and other content you post. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send content that is:
- offensive, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual or violent;
- false, misleading or fraudulent (fake ads, fake prices, stolen or non-existent vehicles or parts);
- spam, or advertising unrelated to the listing;
- someone else’s private information, or content you do not have the right to share;
- illegal, or about illegal goods or services.
Every user can report content and block another user from the “⋮” menu in chats and ads. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours and removes content that breaks these rules. Users who break them may be warned, suspended or removed without notice. Ads may be reviewed before they are published.
4. Bookings, orders and rentals
Prices, deposits, cancellation fees and delivery fees are shown before you confirm. A booking or order is an agreement between you and the business. Raise problems with the business first; if that does not work, contact us and we will try to help.
5. Fees for businesses
Businesses may pay a platform commission per transaction or a subscription, as shown in the business section of the app and portal. Unpaid balances can lead to the account being restricted.
6. Points and promo codes
Points and promo codes have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or withdrawn. Abuse (fake accounts, fake referrals) cancels them.
7. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, MotoX is not liable for the acts of businesses or users, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
8. Ending your use
You may stop using MotoX and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We may update them; we will change the date above and tell you in the app about significant changes.
